Principal’s Message

Dear Bellalago Academy Families and Community Members,

It is with great excitement and gratitude that I introduce myself as the new Principal of Bellalago Academy. I am honored to join a school community committed to academic excellence, student growth, and strong family partnerships.

For nearly two decades, I have dedicated my career to serving students, teachers, and families in a variety of educational leadership roles. Most recently, I served as Principal of Southwest Middle School in Orange County, where I worked alongside an outstanding staff and community to strengthen school culture, increase community engagement, and restore the school to an “A” rating.

This opportunity is especially meaningful because of my strong connection to Osceola County and the Poinciana community. As a graduate of an Osceola County school and a current Poinciana resident, I understand the pride and values that make this community so special. I have also previously served students and families at Discovery Intermediate School and Poinciana High School, experiences that helped shape my commitment to this community and its students.

As I begin my journey at Bellalago Academy, my first priority is to listen, learn, and build meaningful relationships with students, families, staff, and community partners. I believe the strongest schools are built on trust, collaboration, and a shared commitment to student success.

My vision is to create a school where every student feels valued, challenged, and inspired to reach their full potential. Together, we will continue to pursue academic excellence while fostering leadership, character, and a strong sense of belonging for all students.

I encourage families to stay engaged, share ideas, and participate in school events. Your partnership is essential to the success of our students and school. I look forward to meeting you in the coming weeks and learning more about what makes Bellalago Academy such a special place.

Summer office hours:  Monday-Wednesday 7:00-5:00 and Thursday 7:00-4:30, closed on Fridays.

Bellalago Academy is a B school.

    As a Choice District, we allow parents to select the school they want their children to attend, as long as that school has capacity and program availability. Bellalago Academy continues to accept students for grade levels where space allows. We currently have limited seats available in grades K-4 and 6-8.ades

    Each one of our public schools has a full-time sworn law enforcement officer serving as a School Resource Officer on campus every day.

  • Outstanding Certified Educators and Staff

    Our students have highly-qualified, certified teachers who provide engaging, relevant, and rigorous instruction.

    We offer a rigorous curriculum and systems of support, complete with college preparatory and career and technical education paths to meet the needs of every student.

    Students have the opportunity to take high school credit courses in middle school and to earn college/postsecondary credit at no cost to parents while still in high school.

  • State-of-the-Art-Career Training Programs

    We offer courses that allow students to explore career interests, master workplace competencies, gain employable skills, and earn industry certifications and licensing upon graduation.
