Bellalago Parents and Guardians, 

Tomorrow our students in grades 3, 4, 5, and 8 will be taking their PM3 FAST Reading test.  This data will be used to determine scheduling and academic pathways for next school year, so it is imperative students take the test seriously and do their absolute best.  We have no doubt we are going to see growth; staff and students have been working hard all school year long.  

In preparation for testing, please remember that students may not have any electronic devices with them in the testing room, which includes, but is not limited to, cell phones, smart watches, and smart glasses. Students will only be allowed to bring their school-issued laptops and headphones, when necessary, into the testing environment. Students that do not comply with testing rules and regulations (electronic devices, testing integrity, and behavior) will be issued a referral with the highest consequence per the student code of conduct, in addition to the possibility of their test being invalidated which may have implications on their academic pathway for next school year.  If at all possible, please have your child leave their electronic devices at home on all testing dates. 
** Those students with medical needs requiring electronic devices have a testing plan established and therefore are permitted to have devices in the testing room.

We have so much to celebrate from this school year and are looking forward to doing so, but we must all continue to put our best self forward every day- complying with all rules and procedures so we don't jeopardize those fun opportunities.  Remember to be Responsible, be Respectful, be Safe...be a Mariner!
